While frantically whipping up some Christmas gifts and airplane entertainment I used some fabric I had stashed away that had this on the selvedge. Isn't it cute? It's going to be the banner for my shop on here that I will one day actually open. I have to re-learn the Paypal cart, plus I have to actually make something not already planned for someone to sell. It's going to take me at least a month. Maybe only a month because I spent all day at the sewing machine Sunday and it was great. I missed it. Here is what I have been up to.
Pouches in progress
Kody's marker pouch.
I hate how it's wrinkled. I wanted to iron it before taking the photo
but Kody was trying to shove things in it before I even sewed the hole
in the lining up. He picked out all the fabric himself. I had to help a
little at first because he picked linen and then some crazy novelty
print. Once I mentioned the background colors had to match he picked
out all the boyish linen pieces he could find. I think he did good.
Then I made him the matching game from Stitched in Time.
I really wanted to do this but since I don't have a good printer for
that fabric paper, I just picked out some cute fabric patterns to use
for him to match up. He played with them all day.
If anyone else is in my situation and uses regular fabric instead of the printable fabric make sure you have "fray check!"
As you can see from my photo my little game is unraveling away….
Hope everyone has a great week. I may not be around again until the end of the week since I have my final Tuesday. 🙂
